“Wow, yes, these folks delivered dental delight. At this point I'm just going to repeat the other reviews here: unusually charming staff, all kinds of fancy monitors so that you can see your x-rays instantly, and of course, dental work done quickly and thoroughly. For this, my first trip to Dr. Wang, I got the $99 exam, x-rays, and cleaning. I also got a cavity filled... Dr. Wang is attentive and friendly, and his manner put me at ease as soon as I met him. He did the cleaning himself, which was quite a task – let's just say it had been a few years since my last cleaning, and that Dr. Wang is a trooper. » Genuinely friendly receptionist; offered tea, coffee, and water.
» Filled out health history online (saved time).
» Prompt (even at the end of the day, when appointments often run late).
» Dr. Wang is a young, friendly, smart dentist. He took his time with me, and I never felt rushed.
» Gave me a good discount on a new, leading-edge TMJ/anti-grinding appliance. I did a bunch of research and I'm so glad that he suggested it. It's called an NTI... Clearly he is well-educated.
» Ridiculous view of the Empire State building from the dentist's chair. :)
“I sound like a cheerleader but I just generally hate going to the dentist, and without dental insurance it's a drag. But Dr. Wang was such a contrast from the other two dentists I've gone to here, who ran late, wasted my time, and made me feel like they had better things to do. Also, $99 cleaning and x-rays? “I've always had bad luck with dentists. Growing up in Southern California, I was always going to a dentist who was a family friend but did poor work for severe discounts, so I was very cautious when selecting a new dentist in NY.
“Luckily I found Dr. Wang based on the good reviews on DrOogle.com. First of all, his receptionist, Nelson, is an absolute delight to speak with. He always finds out exactly what treatment will cost beforehand and calls to follow up with you, even for a simple procedure like fillings.
“Dr. Wang is friendly and professional. He always seems to make me feel at ease. And he takes extra precaution making every procedure pain-free. I never seem to feel when he's using a needle, and most importantly he is very highly skilled and honest. I will be going back, that's for sure.”-- Daphne C.

“My first visit to Madison Square Dentistry was with the Groupon deal they offered several months back. It was my first cleaning in several years so I was pretty nervous, but the people and atmosphere are so friendly and comfortable that it ended up being one of the best dental experiences I've ever had.
“I hate to admit that I don't remember the receptionist's name (although he WILL remember yours!), but he is so personable, friendly, and makes the signing in and out process a breeze. Dr. Wang is very conversational and professional, and he really seems to genuinely care about you as a person. During an exam or filling, you're able to see up-close to the site of the problem with a special, REALLY tiny camera. Excellent attention to detail.
“I did have a LOT of plaque, so I wasn't surprised to see just a minute amount left on the back of one tooth when I checked out the results of my cleaning immediately after (I was still in the chair). I brought it to Dr. Wang's attention and he wicked it off, no problem. I turned out to have only one cavity, which was still just on the surface so I didn't need anesthesia at all. It took all of 5 minutes to excavate and fill.
“I don't have dental insurance and the filling wasn't included with the Groupon, but they gave me a really good discount on it. While the patient care is fantastic here, their value is their biggest selling point by far, especially considering they're in Manhattan. My boyfriend went to another Manhattan dentist for a different Groupon deal, and after his cleaning he was quoted insane prices for the three fillings he needed. I took him to Madison Square Dentistry instead, where he ended up saving $80 on just ONE filling! Once all three are done, I think his savings will total about $300. Why pay out your nose when you can get even better care than what you'd get at pricier NYC dentists for less?”-- Rebekah I.

“Dr. Wang and his staff are really friendly and professional. They took me right on time, which is really important for me. Dr. Wang explained every step of the process and asked frequently if I was comfortable and/or if I had questions. His office is super modern and new with really cool state-of-the-art equipment. I even got to see what he was doing in my mouth on a flat-screen TV. Also, the x-rays are all digital so there was no wait for them to develop, and it was quick and easy to determine if one didn't come out well so that they could snap another one.”-- T.B.

“I recently went for my first appointment at Madison Square Dentistry, and I am very satisfied with the experience. The office was immaculate. Everything was brand new, and the environment was comfortable. They offer you coffee/refreshments while you wait. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had an early morning appointment, so I was taken in right away.
“Their examination room is all new and very high-tech. There is a flat-screen TV in the room so you can watch TV while you are being worked on. Dr. Wang cleaned my teeth with the dental hygienist assisting. It turned out I had a couple cavities and since I had an early appointment, they were able to do the work right then. They only use the white fillings (no ugly silver), which is exactly what I wanted.
“During the entire visit, Dr. Wang was patient and seemed very knowledgeable. He always offered to explain the procedures he was doing and also used a really cool "mouth-camera" of sorts to show me the before and after of my cavities. I found this to be really interesting and informative... Both the hygienist and Dr. Wang made me feel at ease while being worked on, and they both have a great sense of humor.
